On Saturday, February 17th, the community can come to "Celebrating African American Authors!" The event will include spoken word poetry, African drum lessons, BINGO for Books with the Buffalo Urban League Young Professionals, and more!
The event is FREE! Breakfast and lunch are provided. Children 12 and under must be accompanied by an adult.
Buffalo Public Schools Strong Community Schools are an initiative of the New Education Bargain with Students and Parents. Saturday Academies include educational, recreational, cultural, social and wellness programs every month on at least two Saturday mornings.
