An evening of celebration and thanks toasting to the first full year of business as The Public, Buffalo's premier alternative weekly newspaper.

Within the first year of business, we have felt an unmatched level of support from our friends, families, local businesses, readers and most importantly the communities that have welcomed our new newspaper. Without you, our friends, family, readers, advertisers, and contributing artists and writers, we wouldn't be where we are today.

For this we are grateful and ask that you join us to celebrate at 500 Seneca Street, the most recent Savarino Companies development which boasts an unbelievable atrium that we are calling home for the evening. Please, bring friends.

In said atrium a wonderful 1st birthday celebration will take place from 6 - 10 PM and everyone is invited.

Three rules to get things started.....

1. Come hungry! An eclectic selection of food/eats will be provided by a number of our advertisers that you see in our papers on a regular basis. Food will be spread throughout the room for everyone to enjoy.

2. Come thirsty! For your enjoyment, a beer/wine bar will be provided by The Lunch Box, 500 Seneca Street's anchor catering tenant. Also, exclusive spirits will be provided by local proprietors which we will be announcing shortly!

3. Lace up your dancing shoes! The Legendary DJ Dovey will be on the turntables all night providing a funky soundtrack for all guests to groove to. Steve Balesteri will also be joining us to play his favorite solo tunes that you simply will not want to miss. He's incredible.
