Extreme Scouting!

The Boy Scouts of America through the Greater Niagara Frontier Council will be hosting our Extreme Scouting! Event at Chestnut Ridge Park in Orchard Park, NY on Sunday, June 12, 2016 from 12:00 PM until 5 PM. This FREE event showcases the fun and exciting activities that Scouting in the 21st Century offers today’s youth. Activities will be available for Cub Scout aged boys (aged 6 – 10 years old), Boy Scout aged boys (aged 11 – 17 years) and for all youth (boys and girls) aged 14 – 21 who are interested in high adventure and career based programs.
Activities will include arts and crafts, building and racing model boats in a Recycle Regatta, crafts, rope making, and plenty of fun outdoor games for younger youth. Older and more adventurous youth can use a two man saw, race with a map and compass, see scouts in War of 1812 re-enactments, and tour boats operated by the Sea Scouts.
All events are free of charge and open to all members of the public.
