Location & Raceday Registration: May 30th from 4:30-6:00 pm, upstairs at Soho Burger Bar (64 W. Chippewa Street). Race packet pickup is the day of the race only.

Entry Fee: $20 in advance (through May 21), $25 late registration (May 22-30).

Look out – it’s a big gay 5K! One of the most requested events for 2013, the Gay 5K will be your chance to show off your Pride, your athleticism and –of course- how great you look in running shorts. Participants are encouraged to don their gay apparel, with rainbows, drag and more! The event will be followed immediately by a post-race celebration at Soho Burger Bar. Straight allies are welcome and encouraged to participate. 

Race Route: See map below. Starting at Delaware and West Chippewa, head south on Delaware to Niagara Square. Exit Niagara Square at Perkins Drive. Continue on South Elmwood to Lower Terrace. Right on Erie Street, and continue to the Light House at the end of Erie Basin Marina. Turn around and return to Franklin Street, then running north to the finish at West Mohawk.

Distance: 5K (3.1 miles)

Giveaway: T-shirt for first 200 participants

Post Race Party: Soho Burger Bar. Registration fee includes beer & one burger (or veggie burger) per participant.

Awards: Awards to the overall winners in each category: identifies as male, identifies as female, and gender nonconforming. Awards to the first 3 winners in each of the following age groups: 18 and under, 19-25, 26-35, 36-45, 46-55, 56-65, 66-75, 76 and over. Additional awards will be given for "Best Drag" and "Most Pride."
