Location & Raceday Registration: May 29th from 4:30-6:00 pm at Soho Burger Bar (64 W. Chippewa Street). Race packet pickup is the day of the race only.

Registration Fee: $22 in advance (through May 18), $25 late registration (May 19-26).

Look out – it’s a big gay 5K! One of our most popular events in 2013, the Gay 5K will be your chance to show off your Pride, your athleticism and –of course- how great you look in running shorts. Participants are encouraged to don their gay apparel, with rainbows, drag and more! The event will be followed immediately by a post-race celebration at Soho Burger Bar (map). Straight allies are welcome and encouraged to participate.

Race Route: Certified USATF Course #NY13049JG (click here to download map) Starting at Delaware and West Chippewa, head south on Delaware to Niagara Square. Exit Niagara Square at Perkins Drive. Continue on South Elmwood to Lower Terrace. Right on Erie Street, and continue to the Light House at the end of Erie Basin Marina. Turn around and return to Franklin Street, then running north to the finish at West Huron.
Distance: 5K (3.1 miles)
Giveaway: Tshirt to first 350 participants
Post Race Party: Hosted at Soho Burger Bar. Each participant will receive a complimentary beer and burger sliders (or veggie sliders).
Awards: Awards given to the overall winners in each category: identifies as male, identifies as female, and gender nonconforming. Awards to the first 3 winners in each of the following age groups: 18 and under, 19-25, 26-35, 36-45, 46-55, 56-65, 66-75, 76 and over. Additional awards will be given for "Best Drag" and "Most Pride."
