Please join Girls Education Collaborative in celebrating International Day of the Girl Thursday, October 10, 2019  5:30-8:30pm at 500 Pearl Street, Buffalo NY at both trendy and vibrant bars w xyz bar & lounge and Patrick’s Rooftop!

To celebrate, we will be hosting a cash bar, 50/50 raffle and a basket raffle. $1 of each drink purchased in the three hours will be donated back to GEC.  
International Day of the Girl, recognized by the UN, serves to support more opportunities for girls and increases awareness of gender inequality faced by girls worldwide based upon their gender. 

Girls Education Collaborative (GEC) works to give marginalized girls in developing countries the right to be in school and be in charge of their futures.  An estimated 120 million girls are out of school world-wide because of culturally embedded gender inequality and/or the consequences of critical poverty. GEC is based in Buffalo, NY and helps collaborate location-based initiatives in underserved areas which makes a huge impact on the course of these young girl’s lives.
