The haunted house in Hinsdale, located at 3830 Mcmahon Rd in Hinsdale NY, perhaps the most famous haunted house in the area, has all the elements of a good ghost story: a mysterious history, strange sightings, unexplainable events and even an exorcism. There are two books about the house, "Echo's of a Haunting" by Clara Miller and "You know they're here" by Paul Kenyon. The house gained further notoriety when the Discovery Channel made an episode for their "A Haunting" television series, "Dark Forest," which first aired in September 2006.

On May 11th we will invite the public to take part in helping to raise money to restore the 1800's period home that has been etched into the history of Hinsdale NY. The home is currently used as a paranormal research facility. We will offer psychic and tarot card readings, lectures on the paranormal, hauntings, and all things that go bump in the night.

We will also offer a chinese auction, 50/50 drawings, vendors, food, entertainment, and later in the night (after 9PM) we will lead a special live broadcasted paranormal investigation at the Hinsdale House that anyone can log on and watch (www.paranormalcrossroadslive.com), there will be a limited number of slots offered to take part in this investigation...

We also will have for the first time in Hinsdale a Zombie Walk!
