International Women's Day Celebration: Women of the World

A celebration of equality for all, this FREE, family-friendly event is a night of music, dance, art, and community! 

6 pm- 6: 30 pm- Bollywood dance performance and workshop lead by Akruti Babaria owner of Jhankar dance school and dance instructor Rakhee Rai
6 pm-7 pm- FREE henna body art done by artist Kara Kumar owner of Mehandi Mahal henna
7 pm- 8 pm- Traditional marimba music of southern Mexico Performed by musicians Tiffany Nicely and Jamie Sunshine 

There will also be global cuisine samples, and the first showing of an ongoing community art project. For this project the community was asked to send photos of women at work, and photos were recieved from both Buffalo and abroad.
