Introduction to Intersectional Environmental Justice

In this class, students will be guided through the exploration of how current and emerging climate and environmental justice advocates and activists can be more inclusive, culturally responsive, and understand implicit bias as they work in and engage with communities disproportionately affected by environmental racism.
Topics considered include intersectionality, environmental racism, antiracism, and implicit bias. This class is highly interactive and discussion-based. Participants should be prepared to share, talk, and engage in breakout sessions. Facilitator information forthcoming.
