A spectacular fireworks display over Lake LaSalle on UB's North Campus to celebrate Independence Day on the 4th of July. The entertainment will begin at 7:00pm, artist to be announced. The Erie County Wind Ensemble will perform at 8:45pm until the fireworks begin at 10pm.

Join the estimated 40,000 to 50,000 people who are expected to watch the fireworks at or near Baird Point and at other spots on the North Campus. Or be among the thousands more parked along Millersport Highway, Sweet Home Road and other nearby roadways.

The Independence Day fireworks is the largest event that occurs at UB each year.

In the event of rain, the fireworks display will be held on July 19 in Bassett Park in Amherst. UB has been collaborating with the Town of Amherst since 1991 to put on the show.
