Third Annual Woof & Treat Event

Pups to Compete for Best Costume on Saturday, October 13th

LANCASTER, NY—Lancaster Unleashed, Inc., a grassroots 501(c) (3) organization begun by devoted dog lovers working together to create a community dog park, is hosting their 3rd Annual Woof & Treat event on

Saturday, October 13th, from 11:00am—1:00pm.

As part of their fundraising efforts, in collaboration with the Village of Lancaster, dogs and their owners will stroll through the Central Business District in the village to “trick or treat” for biscuits from participating retailers and volunteers.

Registration Location:

Purely Pets

5 W. Main Street, Lancaster

Registration Begins:                                   11:00am

Trick or Treat in the Village:           11:30 am—12:15 pm

Contest Judging:                              12:30 pm

Dogs of all sizes and shapes are encouraged to don their most creative costumes and bring family & friends along for a cheering section! Prizes will be awarded for Best Costumed Dog and Dog and Owner Look-A-Likes.

Day of event registration is $7/dog. All proceeds go towards creation of a dog park!

Please note all dogs must be leashed & with

 PROOF of current rabies vaccination or a current license.

Don’t have a dog? Come watch pooches parade around the village and cheer on your favorites in the costume contests.
