Getzville, NY – Asbury United Methodist Church is excited to announce the continuation of their concert series, “Musical Stories,” with an original form of musical story that associates tales and music in a unique and high-quality art form tailored for the youngest.

The event will take place on June 4th, 2023, at 3:00 pm at Asbury United Methodist Church on 850 Dodge Rd. in Getzville, NY.

This concert series features B-Bear as a main character, which was conceived to combine games, interactive storytelling, and great music in one fun-filled 45-minute experience that unlocks children’s imaginations. The program includes Robert Schumann’s Scenes from a Childhood op. 15 for piano performed by Dr. Antonella Di Giulio and an original story based on those scenes written by TV-producer Tony Augustine, author and host of the popular Tv shows “Discovering WNY” and “Small Towns WNY.”

Tony and Antonella collaborated on this book as part of a bigger project that involved children’s concerts and school workshops with the goal of inspiring children to unleash their creativity and feel free to express themselves through art, music, and writing. The concert is perfect for kids and families, so don’t hesitate to bring the whole crew! While admission is free, donations are graciously accepted.
