Over the past ten years partnered with Xtra Mile Recordings, Frank Turner has had quite the journey–one that has rocketed him into unknown heights. Having started as part of the London-based group, Million Dead, Turner eventually went full-force toward his solo career after the band’s split. Steadily ascending via performances in pubs and people’s bedrooms, he eventually grazed the stratosphere, supporting Green Day at Wembley Stadium and playing the opening ceremony of the London 2012 Olympics. Then, he finally broke free by scoring number-two-charting albums with 2013’s ‘Tape Deck Heart’ and 2015’s ‘Positive Songs for Negative People’. Even after 2000+ gigs, he has never turned his back on his roots and continues to support independent venues, small towns and rising musicians; he even takes them on tour with him to support their art. No goal is too distant for this incredibly dedicated artist who has achieved so much.
