Williamsville native trombonist, Brendan Lanighan is currently finishing his Masters Degree in Jazz Studies at the Juilliard School of Music. While living in New York City, Lanighan has quickly established himself as one of the top trombonists on the scene and has recently recorded and performed at Lincoln Center's Dizzy's Club Coca Cola with Wycliffe Gordon. Prior to Juilliard, Lanighan graduated from the Eastman School of Music and enjoyed a year-long international tour with The World Famous Glenn Miller Orchestra. For this concert, Lanighan has assembled a group of musicians from Western New York to perform his original arrangements and compositions.
