Garda: https://www.facebook.com/
Garda is Upstate New York's premiere rocktronic band. The group centers around three irrepressible vocalists who happen to be multi-instrumentalists. Chris Miller and Eric Szymanski [vocals/guitars/synths], who, along with Ken Devlin [vocals/bass/synths], single-handedly resurrects the rather fashionable sounds and attitudes of industrial rock for an unsuspecting generation.
Inspired by David Bowie's androgyny, the darkwave sound of Joy Division and the industrial edge of NIИ, Garda forms in 2009. Literally taking their name from "Guardians of the Peace," the national police force of Ireland, the group’s 2010 debut revealed a band that was subversive, sexy, stylish and showing no fear. Initially catering to Upstate New York's nightclub scene, the band's subsequent live shows were met with underground dance club success right from the start.
Optic Oppression: https://www.facebook.com/
On the forfront of musical evolution, Optic Oppression wields production as an instrument in itself. Combining influences ranging from Stabbing Westward to Nine Inch Nails, Linkin Park to Orgy, Optic Oppression walks the now shattered line between the analog and digital worlds. With a dark electronic writing style that has been described as "innovative" and "more than industrial", Optic Oppression’s new EP, Find A Way, seeks to grasp the cutting-edge and carve out a niche of it's own in a musical world where it seems everything has been done before.
Digital Afterlife: https://www.facebook.com/
"Digital Afterlife has been astounding fans across Buffalo with their post-goth/industrial electronica since 2011. 2013's "Binary Consciousness" demonstrated to us that the Burt brothers could recreate of Trent Reznor's years of work with new life and breath" ~ Jesse Kaufman (Renaissance)
This duo of music veterans surge through genres, creating a realm of their own within the confides of electronic music. Becoming one with a sound that always lingers in the back of your mind. One that can soothe, haunt, or control you when you least expect it.
Third Realm: https://www.facebook.com/
Known for an eclectic style, Third Realm explores the elements of several underground genres resulting in a diverse mix of sound. Heavily influenced by Dark Wave and Industrial artists, Third Realm puts their own twist on things demonstrating strong production skills, clever songwriting and meaningful lyrics.
