Uglyhead: http://www.uglyhead.org/
Uglyhead is an experimental electro-rock project from the West Coast headed by sound designer/producer/songwriter
Jake Alejo. The project has taken many forms throughout the years from
highly structured collaborations to solo improv noise performances.
Every aspect of Uglyhead is approached from an unconventional method in
sound design and production. While Uglyhead albums never sound like
perfect, sterile studio recordings they are always unmatched and have
been built from the ground up using techniques unique to Alejo and crew.
Garda: http://www.republicofgarda.com/
Garda is Upstate New York's premiere rocktronic band. The group centers around three irrepressible vocalists who happen to be multi-instrumentalists. Chris Miller and Eric Szymanski [vocals/guitars/synths], who, along with Ken Devlin [vocals/bass/synths] and drummer Rändy Käus, single-handedly resurrects the rather fashionable sounds and attitudes of industrial rock for an unsuspecting generation.
Third Realm: https://www.facebook.com/ThirdRealm
Known for an eclectic style, Third Realm explores the elements of several underground genres resulting in a diverse mix of sound. Far from just another face in the crowd of recycled Dark Electo acts, front man Nathan Reiner demonstrates strong production skills, clever songwriting and meaningful lyrics. Third Realm has received international recognition through club/radio play, film placement and has shared the stage with some notable bands such as Psyclon Nine, Dawn of Ashes, Voltaire, Aesthetic Perfection, Panic Lift, Surgyn & VOWS.
NI25: https://www.facebook.com/ni25ny
NI25 is a solo Industrial project with Experimental/Noise roots originating in 2002. The project performed at various venues Western New York and a couple times at "The Vatikan" in Toronto, ON. However the project soon faded after August 2005 due to reliability issues with live keyboardist. Now in 2014, "NI25" is being reborn in hopes it will pick up where it left off to continue it's success and bring new Industrial music to the Alternative scene.
Blue Lazer: https://www.facebook.com/pages/Blue-Lazer/241091247712
After booking a show in Buffalo, NY, Blue Lazer crash landed on earth in the summer of 2006. Normally an instrumental electronic group, they soon learned that earthlings lacked the capacity to comprehend their jams without their faces being melted clean away. In order to mitigate against this unfortunate side effect the group’s leader found that if he verbally contextualized each song while the rest of the band played it, accidental audience mutilations could be cut nearly in half. Join Blue Lazer as they drain WNY of its resources… err… play music for money, which will eventually enable them to repair their intergalactic vessel and leave your puny backwater mud-ball behind forever!
Blurrangels: https://www.facebook.com/BlurryGates
BlurrAngels is a female composed project formed in 2013 as a side project from the band AngelsBlurr. The music is darker and more computer based. The thing about BlurrAngels and AngelsBlurr is that no songs specifically belong to one... or at least they don't appear that way. Its your job to decide which song belongs to who. ;)
