The Buffalo Gay Men’s Chorus presents WALK TOGETHER, a concert featuring Tyler’s Suite, a nine-song cycle about the life and death of Tyler Clementi, as well as songs from, for, or about Buffalo, NY.
This concert about community features songs by Elton John, Ani DiFranco, Harold Arlen, Stephen Schwartz, Craig Carnelia, Rick James, Jake Heggie, John Corigliano, Ann Hampton Callaway, Stephen Flaherty, John Rzeznik, and Clara Schumann, and features guest soloists Chandra Downs, Daniel Ihasz, Trevor Napoli, and violinist Killian Simonson.
Concerts are Saturday, May 11th at 7:30pm at the Hollywood Theatre in Gowanda (39 W. Main St. Gowanda), tickets available through their website gowandahollywoodtheater.com, and Saturday, May 18th at 7:30pm at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church (1080 Main St) and Sunday, May 19th at 3pm at University Presbyterian Church (3330 Main St), tickets for both Buffalo locations available through tickets.thebgmc.org.
