The Yale Gospel Choir was founded in 1973 under the guidance of Irene Jackson as an adjunct of the Black Church at Yale (BCAY) and is a resident group of the Afro-American Cultural Center at Yale, which we affectionately call “The House”. YGC’s mission is to spread the Gospel of Jesus Christ through song by engaging with the Yale campus, the community in our home of New Haven, CT and on tour each spring. We are excited to bring our spirit of love and joy to Buffalo this year!
