“Laugh and Other Drugs” began over a year ago to showcase some of the area’s funniest comedians in the perfect local venue for stand-up comedy: The 9th Ward.  This bi-monthly show brings some of the best comedic talent from Buffalo and surrounding areas for a night of laughter.

Chris Hasenauer: audio produce for “The Comedy at Carlson Cast” podcast in Rochester; up and coming Rochester comedian

John Lockwood: performed the “Saratoga Springs Comedy Festival” and accepted into “The Devil’s Cup” contest in NYC

Gian Misso: local comedian who can be seen taking the stage at Helium; Upright Citizen’s Brigade student (actually, he took two classes but couldn’t afford it anymore)

Chris Plumer: performing the Finger Lakes Comedy Festival, opening for Carly Aquilino at Helium Comedy Club in late October

Brandon Trusso: featured for Ralphie May and hosted for Rich Vos and Tommy Davidson at Helium Comedy Club

Jesse Winterhalter: opened for Carlos Mencia and Robert Kelly at Helium Comedy Club

“Laugh and Other Drugs” showcase will be on October 5, 2017; doors are at 7:00 pm and the show begins at 8:00 pm.  Held at The 9th Ward| Babeville venue.  Come through, have a drink, and see the best in local comedy.

Tickets are $8 in advance; $12 at the door.
