The Queen City Roller Derby have announced their 2025 Season return to play in Western New York. Buffalo’s most elite derby skaters will take the track at 7 p.m. Jan. 15 in a mashup bout at Buffalo RiverWorks. The theme is Derby Daze: 70's vs 90's. This first bout of the season is free to the public, so if you’ve ever been curious about roller derby, now’s your chance to grab a beer, hit up the snack bar and enjoy an action-packed evening of apex jumps, star passes and trips to the penalty box. Bonus, there will be free popcorn!

New and returning fans can get their favorite team and league merchandise and participate in the 50/50 raffle and the prize-filled Chuck-a-Duck competition at halftime. Doors open at 6 p.m. 

This season, all three home teams are returning to skate at the world's first purpose built roller derby track at Buffalo RiverWorks (359 Ganson St. Buffalo). The Saucies will take on the Devil Dollies in the first home team season bout at 7 p.m. Jan. 31 at Riverworks.  Doors open at 6 p.m., with the first whistle at 7 p.m.
