BURDEN is Torn Space’s fourth and newest performance installation for Silo City. The project is being designed for Marine A, a vast grain elevator with 120-foot tall interconnecting concrete silos, as well as the SS Columbia, a National Historic Landmark and the last surviving passenger ship of its kind.

MY VOICE HAS AN ECHO IN IT features a six-hour durational performance of live music, spoken text and video set within a freestanding, soundproof environment. While watching the performers through two-way mirrors, audience participants also experience music ranging from drifty ambient sounds to erasure poetry to raucous punk-inspired anthems.
