“The choreography takes you straight into a Bollywood movie! Shakti: A Bollywood Dance Showcase will include local performers from various dance backgrounds; Cortney Costanzo, Tonya Davis, Sujata Martin, Diana Miranda-Gaeddert, Natasha Perkins, Holli Simme, Gaitrie Subryan, Krystal Wildman and Naryan Padmanabha a renowned local live musician.

The segments will include thirteen Bollywood pieces; averaging about 2-4 minutes each, a Tango number, a Salsa number, a live musical performance, enjoyable and upbeat music, with choreography that will entertain audience members. This is the second Bollywood showcase presented by Gaitrie. The previous showcase, which sold out three days prior to the show, was held on Saturday, December 13, 2014, at Ujima Theater.

Devi Bollywood Dance presents, Shakti: A Bollywood Dance Showcase. Choreographed by Founder and Artistic Director, Gaitrie Subryan. The showcase will be held on Sunday, April 23, 2017, at 2:00 pm at Shea’s Smith Theater, 658 Main Street, Buffalo, NY 14203.

Tickets for the showcase are $20 in advance and available online at www.devibollywooddance.com and can also be purchased in person by contacting gdevi820@gmail.com Tickets can also be purchased the day of at the door for $25. Doors will open at 1:00 pm. Guests can enjoy a cash bar 45 minutes prior to the start of the show and again at the end of the show where they will have an opportunity to meet and greet the performers. Guests are encouraged to purchase tickets early, as we are anticipating a sold out performance.
