Icabod Crane, the lean, lanky, superstitious schoolmaster, competes with Sleepy Hollow's rowdy Brom Bones, for the hand of young Katrina Van Tassel, only daughter of a wealthy farmer. Bones and his pals play a series of pranks to drive away the jittery schoolmaster. The tension is brought to a head at the annual Van Tassel Harvest Party. Bones entertains the guests with a dramatic replay of his encounter with the terrible Headless Horseman. Later that night, Icabod's lonely walk home in the dark, turns into a frightful experience for the schoolmaster and a spine-chilling good time for the audience!
