Basic Gold Leaf Illumination
The class will explore a basic history of the art of illumination. Students will learn basic watercolor painting skills along with the technique of applying gold leaf. You will use these techniques on previously designed outlines to create a unique illuminated piece. No prior experience required. This is a great beginner class to learn this age old art, which the Roycrofters used in their own books. All supplies and materials provided. Registration required, seating is limited.
