Roblox is the largest social platform for play that allows kids to imagine, create, and play together in immersive 3D worlds. Roblox gives players a safe, moderated place to play and collaborate on creative projects.

During this half-day camp, campers will see a new approach to the Roblox platform and become empowered to discover the underlying mechanics of game development in a collaborative environment. They will learn how to build and model in Roblox Studio, and have the chance to create their own Roblox worlds and games that they as well as their friends can play in.

Interested in having your camper stay for the full day?

Check out our afternoon session of Space Explorers: RC Robots! If your camper stays for the full day, we will be providing supervision from 12pm-1pm between the end time and start time of the two camps. During this time it is recommended that your camper bring a packed lunch to eat. We'll also be playing videos during the break or depending on the number of campers (and on the weather) we'll be going outside so they can eat their lunch while getting some fresh air.

FAQs

Where is the camp located?

The tech camps are held on the campus of Daemen College on Main Street in Amherst, NY. Facilities include the Business Building which houses several computer labs on campus.

How many children in each camp?

Just like a regular class, we ensure a good adult-to-child ratio. Depending on age, this ranges from 1:8 to 1:10, so most camps are maxed out at 19 children. Daemen Tech Camps reserves the right to cancel a camp should enrollment fall below five (5) children.

What is the refund policy?

Refunds will be given only as a result of injury or illness. The refund will be based upon a percent of the daily loss, less a $25 non-refundable fee. A $25 processing fee will also be charged for any cancellation.
