The origin of medicinal remedies is in the plants that inhabit our planet and every culture throughout history has made use of the "green world" around them for sustenance and healing. We'll discuss plants common to Western New York (both native and alien) and the traditional uses of them. Then we'll perform a bit of kitchen alchemy and prepare some simple formulas using both wild and cultivated plants from the "neighborhood." Registration required, seating is limited.
