EMPact America of New York is partnering with Horizon Health and CPR Trainer Sean Hulsman to offer NARCAN training and hands-only CPR.

NARCAN is a drug used to treat a narcotic overdose in an emergency situation. In this class you will learn about the opiate epidemic, resources available, statistics, law enforcement, good samaritan law and how to use your NARCAN kit. Each attendee will leave this class with their own free kit.

Immediately following NARCAN Training, CPR instructor Sean Hulsman will teach you how to preform hands-only CPR. Hands-Only CPR is CPR without mouth-to-mouth breaths. It is recommended for use by people who see a teen or adult suddenly collapse in an “out-of-hospital” setting (such as at home, at work or in a park).
