Female Musicians Fighting Breast Cancer Benefit
Sunday 15th Oct, 2017
This year’s lineup is full of soul and courage. First up will be a duo, featuring the classy jazz vocalist, Julie Kittsley, accompanied by none other than Jack Civiletto. Second is a band, who is no longer up and coming, but have arrived; Dirty Smile, featuring Megan Brown. Third, we are proud to present a returning veteran to the vocal mic, Ms. Terrie George, who is featured alongside the group of amazing veteran musicians, The Shadows.
Finally, the show will culminate with our headliner, the locally and regionally recognized vocal talent and entertainer, Ms. Patti Parks, and her band, who has donated their talents to this benefit in the past.
There will be a basket raffle and a 50/50 split as well. Admission to witness all this talent under one roof is just $10 both pre-sale and at the door. There will be a cash bar and the fine food at the venue to enhance the experience. This fundraiser, sanctioned by the Roswell Park Alliance Foundation and Team Roswell, donates 100% of the proceeds to the cause of promoting active patient self-advocacy, empowerment, and informed choice.
The 15th Annual Female Musicians Fighting Breast Cancer benefit is once again happening to raise awareness and funds for the WNY Breast and GYN Resource Center, the go-to support and information center, on the grounds of Roswell Park Cancer Institute. The event will occur on Sunday October 15th, 2017 at The Sportsmen’s Tavern at 326 Amherst St., Buffalo, N.Y. Doors will open at 1:30pm with four local acts, featuring female members, donating their talent to perform.
