Please join the Women’s Business Center (WBC) at Canisius College as we celebrate women business owners who have created success, and support the women-owned businesses that are looking to grow. Let’s use the energy the community has today and create great things for tomorrow!

There is a need for us to come together. According to the Harvard Business Review, “Although women start businesses at twice the rate of men, only 2% of women-owned businesses break the $1 million threshold in terms of revenues.”

Through the WBC’s 90+ programs last year, more than 1,000 participants were helped, resulting in more than a dozen new businesses launched, 6 businesses accessed capital for growth, more than $2 million in revenue growth and $21 million in gross sales.  Our Ignite Awards Luncheon will be a telling visual of support for business resources, and corporate services that serve businesses and business owners. The energy will be palpable, and great connections will be made by all, as this very unique event will match up attendees at the tables with potential clients, partners and/or mentors.
