Queen City Social

An upscale happy hour featuring all things local, including local bands, local restaurants and local Big Ditch beer. Every Thursday from June 30 through August 4, at Fountain Plaza (20 Fountain Plaza) from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.

Participating restaurants include (on a rotating basis):

Frankie Primos +39, Jerk’s Soda Fountain & Ice Cream Shop, Kaydara Noodle Bar, Oshun, Raclettes, The Patio at 447 Main Restaurant and Bar and Soho Burger Bar.

The local bands that will be performing include:

June 30:    Billy McEwen and the Soul Invaders opening the series

July 7:       Tom Stahl and the Dangerfields

July 14:     The Willies

July 21:      The George Scott Big Band

July 28:      Alison Pipitone Band

August 4:, Hot Club of Buffalo will close the series

 Buffalo Place is proud to announce the Queen City Social. “This is an exciting time to be a part of Downtown Buffalo. Downtown has enjoyed a tremendous variety of investment with more workers, retailers, and residents now calling Downtown home. The Queen City Social will provide Downtown workers, retailers, and residents the opportunity to unwind and mingle in the heart of Downtown Buffalo,” said Michael T. Schmand, Executive Director of Buffalo Place Inc. The series is also intended to create awareness and spin-off business for Downtown restaurants, bars and retail.
