Walk Off Hunger
The Food Bank of WNY is thrilled to announce its 11th Annual Walk Off Hunger will be held from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, July 28, 2018 at Island Park in Williamsville! This fun, family-friendly event is presented by Life Storage and hosted by Calvary Episcopal Church and Congregation Shir Shalom.
Walk Off Hunger is a two-mile scenic walk through the Village of Williamsville. The walk is followed up with a festival full of children’s activities, musical entertainment, bounce houses, raffles, food and refreshments. Last year, Walk Off Hunger drew more than 700 participants!
All proceeds from Walk Off Hunger will benefit the Food Bank of WNY as it continues to procure and distribute nutritious food to as many as 140,000 individuals in any given month through our 335 member agencies in Cattaraugus, Chautauqua, Erie and Niagara counties.
