This 90-minute walking tour of the Buffalo waterfront brings to life the days of the “Grand Canal” – the Erie Canal. An engineering marvel, this often maligned yet crucial waterway almost wasn’t built. Find out about the hard scrabble lives of the men, women and children who made a life for themselves along the longest man-made river in the world. The Canal made Buffalo…but how was the canal made?
