It's no Festivus miracle that Hydraulic Hearth, Community Beer Works, and the S. Thomas Group will again team to present a celebration of Festivus, a tradition unlike any other in Buffalo.

Complete with feats of strength, airing of grievances, an Elaine dance-off, food and drink specials including Snapple punch and Papi's handmade pizza and, of course, an unadorned Festivus pole.

Festivities will begin at 8:30pm with DJs "Puffy Shirt" Cutler along with Shane & Tone providing holiday funk and soul, which will follow the already sold-out Seinfeld trivia competition beginning at 6pm. Complimentary pretzels, Junior Mints an...d Jujyfruits will be offered; prizes will be awarded for best Seinfeld-themed costumes.

"Festivus isn't just my favorite year-end holiday," said Community Beer Works president Ethan Cox, "but really my favorite imaginary, TV-show-inspired holiday of the entire calendar year!"

Added Hydraulic Hearth proprietor Harry Zemsky, "When you first see that aluminum pole, with its high strength-to-weight ratio...it's special."
