In this brilliant and timeless American classic, scrappy young Joe Bonaparte is torn between the desire for the modest and satisfying life of an artist and the pressure to pursue fame and fortune as a prizefighter.  Joe's loving Old World Italian father fears that the siren song of fast money, fast cars and faster women will destroy his son's sensitive soul, leaving him nothing.  Odets' powerful language with its jazzy musicality and gritty vernacular heightens Joe's gut-wrenching struggle to choose between the exquisite quivering notes of the violin and "the sweet science"; the brutal world of boxing.

Starring: Anthony Alcocer as Joe Bonaparte, Cassie Cameron as his love interest Lorna Moon, Rolando Gomez as his father Mr. Bonaparte and David Autovino* as Joe's brother Frank Bonaparte. Rounding out the stellar cast are  Christian Brandjes*,David Lundy, Steve Jakiel, Adam Yellen, Arin Lee Dandes, Jeffrey Coyle, Eric Rawski, Gabriel Robere, David Mitchell and Gerry Maher.
