Come witness this modern remix of Shakespeare’s most famous play, in which two star-crossed lovers defy their feuding families to be together. When set on the streets of our own neighborhood, the universal themes of love and loss, loyalty and tragedy make Romeo and Juliet as relevant today as it was 400 years ago.  This classic is brought to life by a cast of Buffalo teenagers as diverse as the United Nations, who rise to the challenge to bring you a professional, dramatic production. 

This is a “Pay What You Can” event so that everyone can fall in love with Shakespeare. It is also a first come, first seated basis—we have sold out in the past. This is our 9th season.

Teen-led Zieani Jewelry and Sanctuary Soaps will be on sale.  Desserts and beverages will be available for a modest donation.
