Deepsea D-Blue Dial Diver’s Watch

Rolex Deepsea D-Blue Dial

As our unofficial family motto states: “Go Big or Go Home”. Rolex has taken this adage to heart with their commemorative Deepsea D-Blue Dial Diver’s Watch. Built to celebrate James Cameron’s historic solo dive to the bottom of the Mariana trench, the Rolex Deepsea pushes the boundaries of visibility in dark environments with its Chromolight display which is up to two times brighter in the absence of light.

With an incredible guaranteed waterproof depth of 3,900 meters (12,800 feet), the watch also features Rolex’s patented Helium Escape Valve with acts as a miniature decompression chamber for the watch and is essential for deep sea saturation diving. One of my favorite features is the gradient on the watch face itself which mimics the colors of the ocean as you travel deeper and deeper down the trench.
